The Lost Land

Glitches in perception, (or moments of total bliss) Polaroids are the closest material representation of the way I can perceive reality during random, unexpected and very short moments; during those instants I see in the same way I was used to when I was a kid: as if I was looking trough a warm, pastel colored filter, or, at least, my childhood memories have the enchanting colors of expired Polaroids.

Unfortunately the production of Polaroid Type 100 Instant Film, the one fitting my beloved Polaroid 190, stopped years ago, remaining stock are mostly dried up and unusable and niche commercial alternatives are not worthy to be taken in consideration.

Therefore I will continue to use that wonderful camera with photographic film sheets, loaded and exposed one by one, much like any other LF camera.
