With a background in the architecture field, he turned his lifetime passion for photography into a professional occupation in 2010, working for Architect firms and industrial plants in Cairo, Egypt.

At the outbreak of the Egyptian Revolution in 2011, he began making photo-reportages of the protests and clashes in Tahrir Square and surrounding areas.

Member of Stocksy United since 2015 and Arcangel Images since 2018.

Currently, he lives and works in Paris, France.
